Our clients’ needs come first.
When we meet for the first time, you can expect that we’ll go beyond the request for a certain workshop; we’ll have a conversation with you to understand the problems you are trying to solve with the training. This isn’t an attempt to “up sell”. It is a practice we prefer to help you identify and address potential causes of organizational performance problems.
We’ll help you get the resources you need.
We have expertise in Lean Six Sigma, team-based process improvement and problem solving tools and operations management. If your needs go beyond these tools – or if you won’t benefit from our help – we’ll help you find the resources you need.
We expect that your improvement effort will be team-based.
We sincerely respect your associates and acknowledge that they are the experts in their daily tasks. This does not prevent us from collecting and using data to evaluate your processes; when we involve your associates in the evaluation phase of a project it helps us gain a complete understanding of your processes and calms fears about our role in your organization. When identifying and implementing process improvements, your associates are a wealth of creativity and knowledge that must not be overlooked.
Your people pay attention to what you pay attention to.
You’ve got to measure what’s important, share the information with your team and talk about your goals regularly. If you have not done so already, we’ll help you collect Voice of the Customer information that can be used to establish between 4 and 6 key performance indicators for the business, then align your organization’s process goals and objectives.
We believe that a solid foundation in some key operating principles is critical to implementation of Lean Six Sigma.
Simple, visible measurement systems, team-based problem solving and standard work are the proven cornerstones needed to prepare an organization for breakthrough improvement efforts. We can teach you advanced statistical tools, but we want to ensure that you have the data and organizational support structure in place to make the most of them.
